Who we are
The Exchange is a curated community and event series initiated and curated by 2 Eggs Advisory ("we", "us"). This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
When you apply to join an Exchange, get involved, or contact us, we collect the details you provide: name, organization, role, email, mobile or WeChat, city and country, industry, professional profile link, and your answers to event-fit questions. Event application forms also record which Exchange you applied to and when.
Why we use it
- To curate participants for a specific Exchange, including reviewing applications and sending invitations.
- To manage attendance, logistics and follow-up for that Exchange.
- To maintain a lightweight community record so that we can invite relevant people to future Exchanges, where you have agreed to receive updates.
- To respond to your enquiries and proposals.
Photography
Photographs may be taken at Exchanges. We only use images of you in community communications where you have given consent on the application form.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited details (such as name, organization and role) with co-hosts or venue partners of a specific Exchange where necessary to run it, and with service providers that process data on our behalf (for example form and email tools).
International transfers
The Exchange operates between Mainland China and international markets. Your data may be processed in more than one jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
Retention
Event applications are kept for as long as reasonably needed to run the Exchange and to curate future ones. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent to updates or photography, through the contact form.
